Sâmbăta trecută am aflat de o trupă absolut genială, Poets of the Fall. Nu știam că există până atunci și nu cred că le-am auzit vreodată numelor lor, însă, surprinzător, piesele lor au rămas în playlist-ul meu alături de Green Day, Rise Against și Placebo.
Ce au aceștia în plus față de alții? La fel ca trupele enumerate mai sus, aceștia au și versuri, au un mesaj, ajung undeva. Apreciez foarte mult melodiile de acest gen.
Nu am am ascultat toată discografia, însă recomand din suflet următoarele melodii:
- Dreaming Wide Awake;
- Sleep;
- The Poet and the Muse;
- War;
- Change;
- You’re still here;
- 15 Minute Flame.
Lista va continua, dar pentru moment, acestea mi-au atras cel mai mult atenția.
Despre Poets of the Fall:
- trupă finlandeză;
- activează din 2003;
- acum lucrează la al cincilea album ( Signs of life, Carnival of rust, Revolution Roulette, Twilight theater, Alchemy);
- în ciuda lipsei unei promovări majore în exteriorul Finlandei, melodiile continuă să respecte o tradiție.
